I blew it this past weekend. For some reason I was depressed and pigged out on oatmeal cookies and dough. I haven't slept well for weeks, no, months actually, so I didn't go to the gym but once last week. I have been doing Richard Simmons' Tone and sweat. WOW! It really IS a work-out. Those rubber-band ropes do wonders. Also crunches, so I have been doing something.
I am looking forward to the next weigh-in, and will go to the gym tonight or this afternoon if it kills me! I walked 3 miles and biked 3 miles the last time I went. Thank goodness for the movies they show. If I want to see the next movie, I walk more. Works out great for me.
I want to comment on diet pills. They can be dangerous, but if they work for someone, I don't have a problem, until that someone loses more than me, and then it's a problem. Just kidding. I am proud of all of us for really being dedicated to bettering ourselves.

OK, I lost 2 1/2 inches on my waist
1/2 " on my bust
1 inch on arms
1/2 inch on hips
2 1/2 inches on thighs.
SEVEN INCHES TOTAL. I AM JAZZED ABOUT THAT. I thought I had gained 10 pounds, and I only gained muscle. Yes, I can do this and AM.

NUMBER 2
Thanks, guys, for your support. Right now I feel like I am losing it, with my kids, home-school, my life. I don't know if I have lost anything or not, but I feel like a big fat pig. I walked 3 miles and biked 3 miles at the gym today. I'm having a protein shake for breakfast, and tomorrow I will start on a Pilates 20-minute workout and the eating program that goes with it. I just hope I can eat all that is in it! I know that's the secret. I just can't do the calorie, point thing. I'm so worried about what counts for what, getting too many these and those that I don't eat at all. That's just as bad as eating too much.
Melissa, could you please send me my measurements? I need to see a little bit of improvement, or go nuts.
Thought of the day:
THE FIRST 3 LETTERS OF DIET ARE DIE.
That's why I am now on an "alternative eating" program.
Hooray for the day. Let us be glad and rejoice in it, and not eat too many pieces of fudge!

The first.....
OK, I just decided to figure this out, so I did!
I have never been so heavy before, and it is quite disheartening. When Cam had his accident, I couldn't eat at all and lost 20 pounds. Dang it- they finally found me, and brought their friends. Now all of us are trying to part company, or at least I them. I will succeed in this endeavor!
When I look in the mirror, I don't like the image, nor the emotional one I see. I do need to work on both of them to be truly happy, otherwise, the lost will be found again.
Thank you all for donating all that money for me when I win, it was very nice of you. I will put it to good use : )
